Missions at Good News...
"We must be global Christians with a global vision because our God is a global God." - John Stott
Missions efforts are a step of obedience to Jesus' final command "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19,20).
The goal is that the whole world will hear the good news of redemption through Jesus Christ so that one day "...at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" (Philippians 2:10,11).
In fact, the Lamb is worshipped in heaven because "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation" (Revelation 5:9).
GNBC missionaries are supported each month through their agencies by the weekly General Fund offering at the Chapel. The current list of supported missionaries represents a strategic effort to support the work of God in the world...
