Missions at Good News…
“We must be global Christians with a global vision because our God is a global God.”
- John Stott
Missions efforts are a step of obedience to Jesus’ final command “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19,20).
The goal is that every nation (people group) will hear the good news of redemption through Jesus Christ so that one day “…at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:10,11).
One day also our work will be complete and all nations will have heard the good news and a new song will be sung in heaven: ”You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation” (Revelation 5:9).
The current list of supported partners represents a strategic effort to support the work of God in the world. GNBC seeks to offer not merely financial support but sincere prayer and moral support that true biblical mission requires.
“Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is.
Missions exists because worship doesn’t.”
- John Piper

Kelsey grew up at Good News – she’s the daughter of Dave and Ellen Stebbings and a young woman whose passion for the Lord comes out in her gift of music. She is a graduate of Emmaus Bible College, with a double BA degree in Youth Ministry and Biblical Theology with a minor in Biblical counseling.
Kelsey is serving in a number of areas within CrossTrainers Minstries. As the worship/music shepherd with “The Peculiar” worship band, she helps in CTs’ TrueVibe ministry to women, plus the Youth and the Training For Life (TFL) discipelship ministries. In TFL she is able to use her gift of teaching and love for studying God’s word. She has a heart to proclaim the word of the Lord and has opportunity to speak at camps and retreats with a particular heart for high school and college age students. She is also a great help for each of the ministries by coordinating menus and hospitality events, and works to support others on the team. Please pray that the Lord continues to lead and direct Kelsey as she walks closely with Him on this journey. For more information go to ctministries.ca.

Location: Leuven, Belgium
Ministry Focus: Larry – Online and classroom instructional design. Deb – Student and Faculty support
Larry gives direction to the distance learning program at ETF and helps both online and classroom professors with instructional design. Debbie leads an onsite team at ETF as Conference Coordinator and Hospitality Manager for the Leuven Center for Christian Studies (LCCS). The school has 18 guest rooms in their facility and four conference rooms, plus a small dining room, and a kitchen to provide services for LCCS. They are used for seminars and conferences as well as for students and professors who need to do research for extended periods of time.
Larry and Debbie work to cultivate an atmosphere of spiritual formation and community among the resident students, something they are very passionate about. They are committed to one-to-one discipleship/mentoring as an avenue for God to work in individual lives, including their own! You can learn more about their work at edf.edu and globaloutreach.org
Dr. Bruce & Sarah Hanlon
After two very productive years at African Bible College in Malawi, Africa, Bruce and Sarah have returned to the States with their beautiful daughters, Grace and Elizabeth. As though developing a MA program in Christian Leadership at ABC was not enough, Bruce and Sarah diligently did the tedious work of creating a much needed library for the college. They also found great joy in pastoring groups in the local community and individual students at the college. Although sent as a professor, Bruce found this pastoral work to be his greater love, and currently hopes to fulfill this call in a new mission field. As with all our partners, we at GNBC have been privileged to serve with this dynamic family!
